CEShoppes® Commitment To Social Responsibility and Product Safety

CEShoppes® believes we must not only meet the expectations of our customers, we must exceed those expectations. We have adopted standards for the safety, quality and integrity of the products and factories we represent and we are committed to respecting the rights of individuals and protecting the environment. CEShoppes® is dedicated in complying with all applicable laws and to conduct business in an ethical and responsible manner.

We have required each of our preferred factory vendors to provide us with proof of the following:

Product Safety - compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding safety of their products.

No Abuse Of Labor - no use of any form of forced labor, including indentured, prison, bonded or slave labor, nor use of physical or verbal harassment or abuse to discipline employees.

No Child Labor - compliance with all minimum age provisions of applicable laws and regulations.

Freedom of Association – compliance with regard to respect the rights of employees to associate or organize, or join a union without fear of reprisal or interference.

Non- Discrimination – proof that our factory vendors do not discriminate in hiring, on the basis of age, nationality, race, religion, social or ethnic orientation, gender or disability.

Hours and Wages - compliance with all applicable wages, work hours, benefits, and overtime laws and regulations.

Work Place Conditions – proof of a safe, healthy and secure workplace following all applicable laws and regulations for safety and health. Proper sanitation, lighting, ventilation and fire safety protection are requirements that are followed.

Environment – proof of abiding by all applicable environmental laws and regulations.

We expect those vendors that we do business with now and in the future to develop and implement internal business procedures to ensure compliance with our policy. We routinely monitor and assess compliance.
